RETURNS & CANCELLATION

Effective Date: December 10, 2025
Last Updated: December 10, 2025

This Return & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) describes the conditions under which Rhizic Designs (“Rhizic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accepts or declines requests for returns, replacements, cancellations, and order modifications. By placing an order on www.rhizicdesigns.com (the “Website”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms set forth in this Policy, which operates in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Shipping Policy.

Because each piece of Rhizic jewelry is handcrafted, hand-finished, or produced through intentional small-batch manufacturing, we follow a strict final-sale structure designed to protect product quality and uphold craft integrity. The details below outline what customers may expect, what Rhizic is able to accommodate, and the rights and responsibilities of both parties.

1. Return Eligibility & Final Sale Conditions

Rhizic is committed to ensuring that each customer receives jewelry of uncompromised quality. While many luxury demi-fine brands operate under a strict final-sale structure, Rhizic offers a 14-day return window for eligible items as a courtesy to our customers. This return period applies exclusively to pieces that are unused, unworn, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all accompanying components.

Outside of this 14-day return window, all sales are considered final and are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation.

  • Made-to-order items
  • Personalized or custom pieces
  • Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or damage
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Sale or promotional purchases
  • Gift cards

Returns are only permitted when initiated within 14 days of the delivery date, and only after receiving written authorization from Rhizic. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

In cases where an item arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective, customers must notify Rhizic within 24 hours of delivery. Such claims fall outside the standard return window and are assessed separately under our “Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Orders” policy.

This adjusted return structure allows Rhizic to uphold the integrity of every piece we produce while providing customers with flexibility and peace of mind when making their purchase.

2. Order Cancellations and Modifications

Because many of our pieces are crafted to order and because order processing begins immediately once a purchase is submitted, Rhizic might not be able to modify or cancel orders after checkout. If there are changes to be made, please email: info@rhizicdesigns.com to inqire about any necessary changes.

Details such asproduct selection, metal choice, ring size, quantity, shipping address, or payment details might not be able to be changed, thus Rhizic will be unable to make further alternations. We encourage all customers to carefully review their cart, product details, and delivery information before completing a purchase.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

While every Rhizic piece is inspected thoroughly before it leaves our facility, we recognize that issues may occur during transit or in rare cases during production. If you believe you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 24 hours of the carrier’s delivery timestamp. This brief window allows us to address concerns promptly and prevents complications associated with post-delivery wear, handling, or environmental exposure.

Claims must be submitted via email to info@rhizicdesigns.com and must include clear photographs of the jewelry, the packaging, the shipping label, and a written explanation of the issue. Items must remain unworn, unaltered, and in their original packaging while a review is conducted. Rhizic will assess each claim carefully to determine whether it meets the criteria for replacement.

If Rhizic requests that the item be returned for inspection, the item must be shipped back within 7 days of receiving written return authorization. Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent further damage. Once the item is received and evaluated, Rhizic will determine whether a replacement is warranted. If a replacement is available, we will send the new item at no additional cost. If a replacement is not available, Rhizic may issue a refund for the affected item only. No additional compensation, reimbursement, or consequential damages will be provided under any circumstances.

4. Conditions That Do Not Qualify as Defects

Rhizic’s ewelry is crafted using ethically sourced materials including gold vermeil, sterling silver, moissanite, and various lab-created stones. As a result, subtle variations in color, polish, texture, or gemstone appearance should be expected and embraced as part of the character of handcrafted jewelry. These natural features do not qualify as damage or manufacturing defects.

Normal signs of wear—including scratches, minor abrasions, tarnish, oxidation, metal discoloration, fading of gold vermeil, or sensitivity reactions caused by skin chemistry, moisture, or environmental exposure—are not grounds for return or replacement. Damage caused by improper storage, cleaning, impact, bending, stretching, or unauthorized repairs also does not qualify for remedy.

5. Missing Packages and Delivery Discrepancies

If your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, you must notify Rhizic within 24 hours of the marked delivery time. We will assist in initiating an inquiry with the shipping carrier; however, Rhizic is not responsible for packages that have been stolen, misplaced, delivered incorrectly due to address errors, or otherwise unaccounted for after the carrier records successful delivery. Liability for the package transfers to the customer once the carrier marks the shipment as delivered.

6. Undeliverable or Returned Packages

Occasionally, packages may be returned to Rhizic due to reasons such as incorrect addresses, refusal by the recipient, carrier inability to complete delivery, or failure to pick up from designated carrier locations. Because all sales are final, packages returned to Rhizic cannot be refunded. If the customer requests reshipment, additional shipping charges will apply. Rhizic is not responsible for delays or losses arising from inaccurate shipping information provided at checkout.

7. Material Expectations and Customer Responsibilities

Rhizic's jewelry requires mindful care to maintain its appearance. Gold vermeil may fade over time with friction or exposure to moisture, perfumes, lotions, or harsh chemicals. Sterling silver naturally oxidizes when exposed to air and humidity. These characteristics are inherent to the materials and should be expected with regular wear. Customers are responsible for following recommended care guidelines, and Rhizic is not liable for deterioration caused by improper handling or lack of care.

8. Force Majeure

Rhizic is not liable for delays or inability to complete orders due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such events may include natural disasters, severe weather conditions, transportation interruptions, labor disputes, government regulations, pandemics, and other events considered force majeure under U.S. law. These circumstances do not entitle customers to order cancellations, refunds, or compensation.
