These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you (“you,” “customer,” or “user”) and Rhizic Designs (“Rhizic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your use of www.rhizicdesigns.com (the “Website”) and all transactions, engagements, and interactions conducted through our Website or authorized sales channels.
BY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE OR COMPLETING A PURCHASE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Website immediately.
Rhizic may update or amend these Terms at any time. You are encouraged to review this page periodically.
1. MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS & PRODUCT DISCLOSURES
Rhizic produces demi-fine jewelry using sterling silver, gold vermeil, and lab-created gemstones. Each piece is designed and hand-finished, and therefore may exhibit subtle variations. You acknowledge that the following characteristics are natural and not defects:
- Wear Over Time: Surface scratches, micro-abrasions, or patina.
- Oxidation: Natural darkening or tarnish of sterling silver.
- Gold Vermeil Sensitivity: Gold plating may wear due to friction, moisture, or chemical exposure.
- Environmental Reactions: Lotions, perfumes, soaps, detergents, chlorine, humidity, and skin pH may affect appearance.
- Visual Variations: Colors and finishes may appear differently on digital screens due to lighting and photography.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural material behaviors.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES
By completing a purchase with Rhizic, you confirm that:
- You have reviewed all product details and specifications.
- You understand the difference between ready-to-ship and made-to-order items.
- You agree to the Website’s Care Guide, Shipping Policy, Return & Cancellation Policy, Store Policy, and these Terms.
- You accept the material behaviors described in Section 1.
- You understand that all returns must comply strictly with the conditions outlined in Section 5 below.
Completion of payment constitutes legal acceptance of all terms, without exception.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
Payments are processed securely through third-party processors such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and major debit/credit card gateways.
By submitting payment, you agree that:
- Full payment is required at checkout.
- Rhizic does not store full credit card information.
- You authorize Rhizic to charge the provided payment method for the full order total.
- Prices may change without notice but are final at checkout.
- No production or shipment begins until payment is verified.
- Rhizic may cancel orders suspected of fraud or incorrect billing.
4. ORDER PROCESSING & PRODUCTION TIMELINES
4.1 Ready-To-Ship Items
Ship within 2 business days after payment clearance.
4.2 Made-To-Order Items
Require 3–4 weeks for production. Timelines may vary due to material availability, production volume, or unforeseen circumstances. Rhizic may adjust timelines when necessary.
4.3 Order Confirmation
Upon checkout, you will receive a confirmation email. This acknowledges receipt of your order and payment.
5. 14-DAY RETURN POLICY
Rhizic offers a 14-day return window for customers who wish to return their purchase, provided all conditions below are met. This is the only exception to our otherwise final sale policy.
5.1 Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
- The jewelry must show no signs of wear, damage, alteration, or resizing.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging, including boxes, pouches, tags, and inserts.
- The item must be unworn, unused, and in resalable condition.
- A return authorization must be requested before shipping the item back.
Rhizic reserves the right to deny returns for items showing any wear, scratches, tarnish, residue, bending, or damage of any kind.
5.2 Return Exclusions
The following items cannot be returned:
- Made-to-order pieces
- Personalized or customized items
- Items with signs of wear, handling, or use
- Gift cards or promotional items
- Items purchased at a discount or during a sale event
5.3 Return Process
To initiate a return, you must email:

- Your order number
- Photographs of the item(s)
- Reason for return
Rhizic will review your request and, if approved, issue return instructions.
5.4 Refunds
Refunds:
- Are issued only after Rhizic inspects and approves the returned item.
- Will be refunded to the original payment method.
- Exclude shipping costs and payment processing/platform fees.
Rejected returns will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY UPON DELIVERY
Upon delivery, you agree to inspect your order immediately for:
- Correct item(s)
- Correct quantity
- Visible defects
- Consistency with your order confirmation
Issues must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery timestamp. Failure to report issues within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the order.
7. DAMAGED, INCORRECT, OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, Rhizic will:
- Review your claim
- Provide return instructions
- Require the item to be returned unworn and in original packaging
If confirmed defective:
- A replacement will be shipped within 48 hours (subject to availability)
- If unavailable, a refund will be issued for the affected item
No additional compensation will be offered beyond replacement or refund.
8. LOST OR MISSING ORDERS
If your order is marked “delivered” but not received, notify Rhizic within 24 hours.
Rhizic will assist in investigating, but is not responsible for:
- Theft after delivery
- Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Carrier delays or negligence
If the order cannot be located, Rhizic may reship or refund at its discretion.
9. SHIPPING POLICY
Rhizic ships within the United States only.
Shipping Benefits
- Free U.S. shipping on orders over $400
- Secure carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx
Shipping timelines depend on carrier conditions and destination.
Once shipped, responsibility transfers to the customer.
10. MADE-TO-ORDER & PERSONALIZED ITEMS
Made-to-order items are crafted uniquely for each customer. Therefore:
- Orders cannot be cancelled, changed, or expedited
- Shipping information cannot be updated after checkout
- Production timelines may shift depending on materials
11. PRODUCT SIZING & CRAFTSMANSHIP
- Rings follow U.S. standard sizing and cannot be resized by Rhizic.
- Hand-finishing results in natural variations that are not considered defects.
12. WARRANTY & REPAIRS
12.1 Warranty
Demi-fine jewelry does not include a lifetime warranty. Repairs may be available for a fee.
Third-party repairs void all Rhizic repair eligibility.
12.2 Repair Services
Rhizic may offer services such as:
- Stone tightening
- Chain repair
- Refinishing or re-plating
Customer is responsible for shipping costs.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by California and U.S. law, Rhizic is not liable for:
- Improper care or misuse
- Natural wear, tarnish, or plating fade
- Allergic reactions
- Carrier delays or errors
- Indirect or consequential damages
Rhizic’s total liability will never exceed the purchase price of the item.
14. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
Rhizic may modify these Terms without notice. Updated Terms take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
15. SMS MARKETING TERMS
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS marketing messages from Rhizic Designs, you agree to the following terms:
15.1 Message Frequency
You may receive up to 5 promotional text messages per month. Message frequency may vary based on your interaction with our store and ongoing promotions.
15.2 Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier's plan. Please check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
15.3 Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of receiving SMS marketing messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us
- Contacting our customer support team
After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
