This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) outlines the shipping practices, fulfillment procedures, delivery conditions, and customer responsibilities associated with all purchases made through www.rhizicdesigns.com (the “Website”), operated by Rhizic Designs (“Rhizic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order on the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy, which forms an integral component of our Terms & Conditions.
1. SHIPPING GEOGRAPHY & SERVICE LIMITATIONS
Rhizic currently provides shipping services exclusively within the United States, including:
- The 48 contiguous states
- Alaska
- Hawaii
We do not ship internationally or to the following locations: U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, freight-forwarding facilities, or P.O. Boxes (unless expressly permitted at checkout).
Orders submitted using international addresses or forwarding services will be canceled to maintain product authenticity, compliance, and shipping integrity.
2. SHIPPING FEES & FREE SHIPPING ELIGIBILITY
Rhizic offers multiple domestic shipping options calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, carrier rates, and packaging requirements.
2.1 Calculated Shipping
Orders under $400 (USD) will incur a shipping fee automatically determined at checkout. Shipping rates vary based on:
- Delivery region
- Carrier-selected service
- Parcel weight and dimensions
- Seasonal surcharges or carrier fluctuations
2.2 Complimentary Shipping
Orders totaling $400 or more (before tax) qualify for free standard domestic shipping. This benefit is applied automatically at checkout and cannot be added retroactively once an order is placed.
3. ORDER PROCESSING & FULFILLMENT TIMELINES
Order processing refers to the internal time required to prepare your item(s) for dispatch. This timeframe is separate from the carrier’s delivery period.
3.1 Ready-to-Ship Jewelry
Ready-to-ship items require approximately 2 Business Days for processing after successful payment verification.
This timeline may extend during:
- Peak holiday seasons
- New product launches
- Operational or logistical delays
3.2 Made-to-Order Jewelry
Made-to-order pieces require 3–4 Weeks for production. Timelines may vary due to:
- Gemstone availability
- Handcrafting and quality inspection protocols
- Volume of active orders
- Seasonal workforce fluctuations
Production begins only after full payment is received.
3.3 Mixed Orders
If your order includes both ready-to-ship and made-to-order items, Rhizic may:
- Ship available items first and dispatch made-to-order items separately once completed,
or - Consolidate the entire order for a single shipment once all items are ready.
This decision is at the sole discretion of Rhizic to ensure product safety and shipping efficiency.
4. DOMESTIC DELIVERY ESTIMATES
All orders ship from Los Angeles, California. Estimated delivery windows once shipped:
Estimated Delivery Windows:
- Contiguous U.S.: 2–5 business days
- Alaska & Hawaii: 3–7 business days
- Alaska & Hawaii: 3–7 business days after shipment
Delivery estimates are determined by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Rhizic.
Possible delays may result from:
- Weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Peak shipping seasons
- Labor shortages or strikes
- Mechanical failures
- Routing or processing errors
Rhizic is not liable for delays occurring once a package is transferred to the carrier.
5. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION & TRACKING
Once your order ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email containing:
- Tracking number
- Carrier name
- Estimated delivery details
- Tracking link for real-time updates
Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to populate. If you do not receive confirmation, contact: info@rhizicdesigns.com
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCURATE SHIPPING INFORMATION
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping details entered at checkout are accurate and complete.
Rhizic is not responsible for:
- Delivery to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
- Failed deliveries due to inaccurate address information
- Packages lost, misplaced, or stolen after delivery
- Delivery failures due to carrier access issues
Shipping information cannot be modified after an order is submitted.
7. DELIVERY COMPLETION & TRANSFER OF LIABILITY
Risk of loss transfers to the customer when the package is released to the carrier. This includes:
- Loss in transit
- Damage during transit
- Mis-delivery
- Theft after delivery
If a package is marked “Delivered” but cannot be located, you must notify Rhizic within 24 hours for assistance with a carrier investigation.
Rhizic cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered.
8. DAMAGED, INCORRECT, OR INCOMPLETE ORDERS
Upon receiving your order, you must inspect all item(s) immediately. If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged
- Incorrect
- Incomplete
You must notify Rhizic within 24 hours of the delivery confirmation by emailing at info@rhizicdesigns.com
Your claim must include:
- Order number
- Photographs of the packaging and label
- Description of issue
Items must remain unused and in original packaging until reviewed by Rhizic.
If approved, Rhizic will:
- Provide return instructions
- Ship a replacement upon receipt and verification (subject to availability)
If a replacement is unavailable, Rhizic may issue a refund for the affected item only.
No additional compensation is provided.
9. UNDELIVERABLE, REFUSED, OR RETURNED PACKAGES
A package may be deemed undeliverable if:
- The address is incomplete or invalid
- Delivery attempts fail
- The package is refused or unclaimed
- Carrier access is restricted
For such orders:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Re-shipment fees are the responsibility of the customer
- Returned orders do not qualify for refunds because all sales are final
10. FREE RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS
Rhizic maintains a 14-day return window for eligible products as part of our commitment to a secure and confident shopping experience.
If your item does not meet your expectations, you may initiate a complimentary return within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- The jewelry is unworn, unused, and undamaged
- No signs of wear or alteration are present
- All original packaging, pouches, and materials are included
- A return request is submitted within the 14-day period
Upon receipt and inspection, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Items showing wear, scratches, residue, damage, or alterations are not eligible for return.
This free return window applies only to U.S. domestic orders and excludes:
- Custom or personalized items
- Damaged or used items
- Orders returned without prior authorization
11. FORCE MAJEURE & NON-CONTROLLABLE EVENTS
Rhizic is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including:
- Weather events
- Carrier disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Labor strikes
- System outages
- Government restrictions
These occurrences do not entitle customers to cancellations, refunds, or compensation.
